There are no accounts, and IP addresses are not stored. To stop double voting and spam the site keeps a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, salted and rotated every day, so it cannot be traced back to you after the day ends.

Posts you write are public. The short ID next to a post comes from the same kind of daily hash and changes every day.

Spam protection uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Traffic statistics, if enabled, use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not set cookies.

If advertising is shown, it is served by Google AdSense, which may use cookies after you consent. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first.

Your browser remembers which way you voted today, on your device only, so the buttons show your choice.
